How we score

A ranking you can audit.

FeesExecutionPlatformSupportSafety

Five sub-scores, each justified

Fees, execution, platform, support and safety — every one ships with a written one-line reason on the scorecard. No bare numbers.

Weights fixed before review

The overall score is a weighted rollup whose weights were set before any platform was looked at. They do not move per platform.

Commissions never touch a score

Some links pay us a referral fee. Platforms we have no deal with are scored the same way, and can outrank the ones we do.

Unverified means unranked

Anything not yet checked against the platform's own documents is flagged and left out of the ranking.

Questions

Prop firm FAQ

How do you rank prop firms?

Every firm gets five sub-scores — fees, execution, platform, support and safety — each with a written one-line justification on its scorecard. The overall score is a weighted rollup; the weights were fixed before any firm was reviewed. Firms we have not verified against their own documents are flagged and left out of the ranking.

Do affiliate commissions change the ranking?

No. Some "Visit" links pay us a referral commission if you buy a challenge, at no cost to you. Scores are set independently of any deal, and firms we have no arrangement with are scored exactly the same way.

What does "From" mean in the table?

It is the cheapest challenge the firm lists on its own pricing page, including a sale price when one is running, shown in the firm's billing currency. Currencies differ between firms, so sorting by price compares face value.

Static or trailing drawdown — why does it matter?

At the same headline percentage, a trailing drawdown is stricter: its floor ratchets up with every new equity high and never comes back down. Two firms both advertising "10% max loss" can be very different to pass. Confirm which type applies on the firm's rules page before you buy.

How do I know whether I would actually pass?

Put your win rate, reward-to-risk and risk per trade into the Pass Probability simulator. Challenge rows on each scorecard open it pre-filled with that challenge's profit target and drawdown rules, so you see your odds against the real ruleset before paying the fee.

Rule changes, before they cost you

Prop firms change drawdown rules, splits and prices with little notice. We update the scorecards when they do — subscribers get a short note, plus one honest trading-math insight a week.
