FundedNext Review 2025: 15% Challenge Profit Share and Fast Payouts
Each faint trail is one simulated future for this strategy. The bold line is the median — half of runs finished above it, half below. The shaded band spans the lucky 10th to unlucky 90th percentile, so an outcome inside the band was reasonable to expect; outside, less so.

FundedNext launched in 2022 and has grown faster than almost any other prop firm in the industry, reaching 80,000+ traders across 195 countries within three years. Its standout feature is genuinely unusual: a 15% profit share during the challenge phase itself — most firms pay nothing until a trader is fully funded. If you hit 10% profit on a $100,000 evaluation, FundedNext pays you $1,500 before you've even passed.
TradeOnMath earns a commission on FundedNext signups through our affiliate link. This is disclosed here and on every linking page. It does not change the assessment — the shorter track record and automated trading restrictions are real limitations this review covers honestly.
The four challenge types
| Challenge | Profit Target | Max DD | Daily Loss | Profit Split | Fee (100K) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar 1-Step | 10% | 10% | 5% | 90% | ~$549 |
| Stellar 2-Step | 10% + 5% | 10% | 5% | 80%→95% | ~$549 |
| Stellar Lite | 8% | 6% | 3% | 80% | ~$199 |
| Flex Challenge | 10% | 10% | 5% | 80%→95% | ~$549 |
The Flex Challenge introduced in May 2026 is the most trader-friendly structure FundedNext has offered — the consistency rule applies only during evaluation, not on the funded account. This is a meaningful improvement: previously, the 40% best-day rule applied after funding too, penalising traders who had one strong day in an otherwise average month.
The 15% challenge profit share — how it actually works
During any FundedNext evaluation phase, 15% of any profit you generate is paid to you at the end of the challenge regardless of whether you pass or fail. This is not a discount on the fee — it is an actual profit payment. On a $100,000 Stellar account hitting the 10% target ($10,000 profit), you receive $1,500 before the funded account begins.
The practical value depends on your pass rate. If you pass on the first attempt, the 15% is a bonus on top of the funded account. If you fail multiple attempts but generate some profit each time, the payments offset challenge costs. Traders who fail consistently without generating profit receive nothing — the 15% only applies to profitable challenge sessions.
Fees and refund policy
| Account Size | Stellar 1-Step | Stellar 2-Step | Stellar Lite |
|---|---|---|---|
| $6,000 | $59.99 | $54.99 | $25.99 |
| $15,000 | $119.99 | $109.99 | $54.99 |
| $25,000 | $199.99 | $179.99 | $84.99 |
| $50,000 | $299.99 | $274.99 | $129.99 |
| $100,000 | $549.99 | $499.99 | $199.99 |
| $200,000 | $999.99 | $899.99 | N/A |
The 120% fee refund applies when using a promotional code at checkout — a $100 challenge fee becomes $120 back with first payout. The standard refund (without code) is 100%. This is competitive with FTMO's straightforward 100% refund. Note that reset fees for failed challenges are separate and not covered by the refund policy.
Payout structure
Payouts are available every 5 days (bi-weekly on some account types) with a minimum of 5 trading days between requests. Processing takes 5–24 hours via Rise (cryptocurrency) or bank transfer. The $1,000 late compensation policy is one of the most trader-friendly policies in the industry — if FundedNext misses their processing window, they pay you $1,000. For even faster payouts, FunderPro averages 8–24 hours but carries a 2026 trust warning worth reading before committing.
Platforms and markets
FundedNext supports MT4, MT5, cTrader, and Match-Trader — matching FTMO's platform range. Tradeable instruments include 50+ forex pairs, gold (XAU/USD), silver, oil, major indices (S&P500, DAX), and crypto CFDs. Gold spreads are reported as competitive, making FundedNext a reasonable choice for XAU/USD traders specifically.
Restrictions to know before buying
Automated trading: EAs and bots are not permitted. Copy trading between your own accounts is allowed; copying other traders' signals is not.
HFT and arbitrage: explicitly banned across all account types. EA traders should consider The5%ers, which explicitly permits algorithmic strategies.
News profit rule: on funded accounts, trades opened and closed within 2 minutes of high-impact news that generate unusually high profit are subject to a profit reduction. This does not apply during the challenge phase.
Inactivity: accounts inactive for 30 days may be subject to closure review.
Scaling plan
Every 4 months of consistent profitability triggers a 40% balance increase. A $100,000 account scales to $140,000, then $196,000, and so on up to $4,000,000. The profit split remains the same throughout scaling — no split reduction for larger accounts. The scaling plan is one of the more generous in the industry; FTMO scales by 25% to a $2M cap by comparison. See the full prop firm comparison for a side-by-side view of all scaling plans.
FAQ
Is FundedNext available to Indian traders?
Yes — FundedNext accepts traders from India across all account types. Payouts via cryptocurrency (Rise) are the most practical method for Indian traders given current RBI restrictions on prop firm transfers. Prop firm income is taxable as business income under Indian tax law.
Does FundedNext allow weekend holding?
Yes — positions can be held over weekends. There is no forced close at the weekend open. Trades held through the weekend are subject to swap charges as normal.
What is the FundedNext Flex Challenge?
The Flex Challenge introduced in May 2026 removes the consistency rule from funded accounts — only the evaluation phase has the rule. This is the most trader-friendly account structure FundedNext currently offers and is recommended over Stellar 2-Step for most trading styles.
How does the $1,000 late payout compensation work?
If FundedNext fails to process a payout request within their stated processing window (5–24 hours), they are contractually obligated to pay $1,000 compensation. The request must be properly submitted through the platform — informal requests do not qualify.
